PBT came into being because of a vision and a challenge that Robert Fraley had in 1995. Robert always maintained that the words in Scripture had very precise meanings, and that restoring the integrated context of Scripture was the key to understanding those meanings.
Robert’s challenging question always was, “Who is preserving Biblical Truth?” What he meant was, who either is or has been documenting the visual images related to Bible Times, while they could still be documented, that would be key to understanding the Biblical record in context for future generations? When it was not clear that anyone had such a vision, he and others provided the initial impetus that began to create and document what later became the photographic and visual archives of Preserving Bible Times.
It is to Robert’s vision and commitment to Biblical Truth, that PBT owes its existence and its charter. Even though Robert went to be with his Lord on October 25, 1999 in an aircraft accident, his challenge to preserve Biblical Truth continues to sustain and challenge us.
