UpComing Calendar of PBT's Seminars, Conferences and Bible Alive Weekends
Coming in 2011: February 15-27 "The Life and Land of Jesus" Study Program in Israel.
PBT is partnering with Christian Travel Study Programs CTSP) to offer a thirteen-day “The Life and Land of Jesus” Study Program in Israel, February 15-27, 2011. Dr. Randall Smith of CTSP, who has lived in Israel for over 20 years and has advanced degrees in Archaeology and Comparative Religions (with an emphasis on Judaism), with be team-teaching this program along with Doug Greenwold, PBT’s Senior Teaching Fellow. We’ve customized this program to not only visit the usual sites, e.g. Bethlehem, Nazareth, Capernaum, but other rich teaching sites as well, e.g. Corizin (multi-room housing), Kersi (rescue of the demoniac), Cana (John 2), a Judean vineyard (John 15).
Some of the distinctives of this study program approach include: · An integrated, thematic, contextual approach with a devotional emphasis. · It is a study program, not a tourist trip. · Three and four star hotels · A catch-your-breath day on day nine so we don’t wear ourselves out. · A team approach with two teachers of similar visions and compatible gifts – a stereo experience! · An ideal time - the end of February can offer ideal conditions in the Eastern Mediterranean. Temperatures are usually in the 50‘s and 60‘s depending on the elevation (this year the last two weeks of February were all in the 70 degree range). Everything is green from the winter rains and the air quality is excellent, all of which makes for pleasant walking and great photography. The all-inclusive cost of this Study Program is $3895 per person (double occupancy). This is based on a departure from JFK, Newark or Atlanta.Call PBT at 410-953-0557 if you would like a brochure and itinerary.

PBT's "Worship From the Inside Out" Seminar
Ever wonder if there’s something more you could be getting out of God’s Word to enhance your worship of Him? Could your time in the Word use a jumpstart? Then our “Worship from the Inside Out” Conference may be just what you are looking for. During that time, we explore the essence of worship, barriers to worship, and how we can encourage and enhance our worship of the Lover and Savior of our soul. Jesus called us to worship Him in “spirit and in truth.” Much of our time together is focused on expanding our understanding of the “truth” of worship. As part of doing that, we put “familiar” passages back into their Middle Eastern context to discover more in them that can deepen our sense of worship. It is a time that excites your mind, engages your heart and nurtures your soul.
