Preserving Bible Times, Inc. (PBT) is a faith-based educational organization with a vision for preserving and presenting biblical truth and meaning through integrating the biblical text with its visual, geographical, literary, historical and cultural context. PBT’s approach is to creatively assemble a “tool box” of related images, resources and contextual elements that will allow the Scriptures to increasingly come alive for 21st Century readers and viewers as they did for 1st Century hearers. This integrated contextual approach to engaging the Scriptures is shared in our growing portfolio of streamable digital resources across different sections of this website.
Consistent with its preservation charter, PBT is now converting its library of physical inventory to digital formats suitable for download and streaming. These visual and contextual resources are intended to be shared liberally to encourage the understanding of biblical context and to further equip those serving in preaching and teaching ministries.
As a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt corporation, Preserving Bible Times depends on the contributions of like-minded individuals and organizations as well as revenues from sales to 1) continue exploring the cultural, literary, geographical and historical context of the various biblical periods, and 2) sharing this contextual information over a variety of media via digital, radio and web with students of the Bible everywhere.

How You Can Participate With Us …
PBT’s vision is the preservation and teaching of biblical truth. Our strategy is to focus on the integrated contextual restoration (literary, historical, cultural and geographical contexts) of the biblical record. Our purpose is to reconstruct the intended meanings of the words, places, names, people, etc., in the biblical record to allow for a (re)discovery of the biblical writers’ intended purpose and meaning. Our activities are educational in nature and include the development of contextual resources for public use. Our desire is that the words of the biblical record would increasingly come alive for 21st century minds and hearts.
There are various ways you can support the preservational and educational purposes of PBT …
Pray For Us. There are many things we could do with our image archives and contextual research. Pray that we set the “right” priorities, do the “right’ things, and are discerning in how best to research and document the contextual dimensions of the Bible, and how best to share that with the world.
Spread the Word. Tell others about our contextual resources and our web site. We need others to know about us, use our resources and get excited about the crucial role context has in understanding the land and message of the Bible.
Use Our Contextual Resources. The purchase of our contextual resources, in part, helps us to have sufficient funds to develop additional such resources.
Financially Support us. We truly welcome and need your financial support, especially for image and photographic acquisition, and teaching resources. If you would like to become financially involved in this vision, you can contact:
Pastor Robbie Pruitt, Executive Director by mail at PBT, 21228 Hedgerow Terrace, Ashburn, Virginia 230147. Alternately you may phone or text us at (571) 346-9538.
