What might that have initially evoked in your mind – a miniature Garden of Eden, a fabulous oasis? As regards Israel, nothing could be further from the truth! It starts by progressively visiting this land from the north, then traveling to the central part of this country (Samaria) and ends by visiting Beersheba in the Northern Negev.
What we surprisingly discover is that this ancient phrase comes with an embedded challenge for how we live today, which makes it very contemporary.
