Preserving Bible Times (PBT) is about preserving the integrity of Scripture (our vision) by focusing on its integrated context (our strategy.) To reach this objective, Preserving Bible Times is committed to the following sequential methodology for the teaching resources it develops:
- Understanding God’s Perspective on His Word (“The Five Story Lines of Scripture“)
- Understanding Our Perspective on God’s Word, e.g., Those Presuppositions and Paradigms that Condition (filter) How We Approach the Text ( “Case Study”)
- Unfolding the Passage with the (past and present) Contextual Evidence (historical, cultural, literary and geographic context) Presented by the Writer
- Restoring and the Integrating all the Contextual Evidence
- Video and Photographic Visual Context
- (Re)discovering Original Meaning
- Discussing and Pondering the Passage’s Issues from God’s Perspective
