Early in His ministry, Jesus revealed what would come to be called His rescue manifesto. Central to that process is Jesus’ signature brand of compassion, articulated first in His Sermon on the Mount, then at his hometown synagogue in Nazareth. Cómo formar discípulos a la manera de Jesús: sabiduría que hemos desaprovechado es un libro para discípulos y practicantes del discipulado. Jesus often taught using parables, as did rabbis generally. It has been said that a parable is an earth-bound story with heavenly implications. So it was with the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
